Development of draft legislation guidelines for a climate change act for Botswana
보츠와나(Botswana, 남아프리카에 위치)의 기후 변화 행동을 위한 법률 입안 가이드라인 개발 Context
The Government of Botswana regards climate change as a significant threat, as the country is experiencing increased variability in both temperature and rainfall. Botswana is therefore developing a climate change policy, strategy and action plan. The country aims to take into consideration newer technologies that have entered the market since Botswana completed its 2004 Technology Needs Assessment and incorporate these as it develops a legally binding framework for action. 배경
보츠와나 정부는 본국이 기온 및 강수의 변동성 증가를 경험하고 있기 때문에 기후 변화를 심각한 위협으로 간주한다. 그래서 본국은 기후 변화 정책, 전략, 행동 계획을 개발하고 있다. 또한 보츠와나가 2004년 기술 수요 평가(Technology Needs Assessment; TNA)를 완료하고 법적 구속력이 있는 행동 프레임워크를 개발하였기 때문에 이후 생긴 새로운 기술들을 고려하여 이들을 포함시키고자 한다.
